A Pewter Lab party gives budding artists of all ages a chance to explore their imaginations and create pieces that will last forever. Shannah and Casey will help you design and sculpt a unique piece out of clay and will demonstrate the processes of molding and casting, which are used to transform your creation into a pewter masterpiece.
Partygoers have the choice of making an ornament, keychain, magnet, or pendant. Each piece will be produced into 2 pewter pieces for the artist. These personalized handmade pewter pieces make great gifts for all occasions.
Whether it's a classroom project, birthday party, bridal party, holiday party, or even a girls' night out, the unique take-home keepsakes will remind partygoers of the fun they had with you at The Pewter Lab.
parties for children
Parents are welcome to bring light snacks, cake and drinks. They must also provide plates, cups, utensils, and napkins. Partygoers will have the choice in making a pewter ornament, keychain, magnet, or pendant. They will get a tour of the studio and a brief demonstration in the mold making process as well as pewter casting. Pricing includes 1 cast pewter pieces made by YOU which will be ready to pick up 1 week after the party.
- Party price for the minimum of 10 artists – $375
- Each additional artist – $34
- Parties start at 1 1/2 hours in length (one hour for creating and 1/2 hour for snacks and gifts).
- Add $50 for each additional half hour.
- Additional pieces can be purchased for $15 per piece and can be ordered anytime after the party.
- For an additional $95 we will provide 2 large pizzas, juice and water, plates, napkins and utensils.
- For an additional $8 per artist we will provide a goody bag which contains a small cast piece chosen from our selection, a block of polymer clay, 1 sculpting tool, a rolling pin, and a sculpting mat.
- Clean-up is included in the price.
parties for adults
Adults are welcome to bring light food and drinks (including beer and wine) to their party. Partygoers will have a variety of things they can choose to make including a pewter ornament, keychain, magnet, cufflinks, tokens or pendant. Partygoers will get a tour of the studio and a brief demonstration in the mold making process as well as pewter casting. Pricing includes 2 cast pewter pieces made by YOU.
- 8 artists (8 minimum) – $50 each
- 9-16 artists – $47 each
- 16+ artists – $44 each
- Parties start at 2 hours in length. Add $50 for each additional 1/2 hour.
- Additional pieces can be purchased for $18 piece and can be ordered anytime after the party as well.
- Special hand stamping is also offered for 25¢ per letter.
