The Tree Side Table is truly a unique piece. The trunk was sculpted in clay and then cast in hydrocal (a stronger form of plaster). It was painted with bronze paint that contains flecks of real bronze so that its patina is like the natural metal. The top is made to look like rings in a tree. Made of polyester resin, each ring was cast in a different color. The result is a beautiful sculpture with a very natural presence that happens to function as a table.
